NewsMute To Release Maps DebutBritish bedroom popster James Chapman, better known by his Maps alias, will release his debut LP, We Can Create June 19 in North America via his new home at Mute. The album will be preceded by an EP, To The Sky, to be released digitally May 19. The entire album was recorded by Chapman on a 16-track recorder at his home without the use of any computer mixing. However, he did enlist the help of producer Valgeir Sigurdsson, who has in the past worked with Bj?rk and Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Tracklist For We Can Create: 01. So Low So High 02. When You Leave Creed frontman's charges reduced Charges of aggravated assault against Scott Stapp were reduced to a misdemeanor today (May 21) by a Florida judge. Ex-Creed frontman Stapp was arrested at his home in Palm Beach yesterday on charges of aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony. Police were called to the house after Stapp allegedly threw a bottle of Orangina at his wife's head. The bottle missed her head and broke. The bottle is was not considered a deadly weapon in this case, a fact that led to the charge reduction. Stapp and wife, Jaclyn Neshiwat a former Miss New York USA married last year. Upon Stapp's release he will be obliged to undergo random drug and alcohol tests. |
